The War of 1812, announced against Kingdom over various grievances and fought to a draw, strengthened U.S. nationalism. A playoff of U.S. warlike incursions into Florida led Spain to cede it and opposite Disconnect Seacoast territory in 1819. The Incorporated States annexed the Republic of Texas in 1845. The conception of Manifest Occurrence was popularized during this case. The 1846 Oregon Pact with Kingdom led to U.S. test of the present-day Land Northwest. The U.S. triumph in the Mexican-American War resulted in the 1848 ceding of Calif. and {made relocation easier for settlers and exaggerated conflicts with Native Americans. Over a half-century, up to 40 million Land bison, or buffalo, were slaughtered for skins and meat and to help the railways' disparity. The death of the metropolis, a capital inventiveness for the plains Indians, was an existential stir to galore somebody cultures.
